Taking to Instagram, Richa revealed that resuming work after the birth of her daughter took far longer than she had anticipated. “On Sunday, I went back to work after nearly two years,” she wrote, adding that both her body and mind needed more time to heal. She also reflected on the identity shift that comes with motherhood, noting, “Mommy doesn’t remember who she was before the baby was born.”

Beyond the physical and emotional demands of becoming a mother, Richa revealed that she had to deal with what she described as deep professional betrayals. In her post, she wrote that very few people in the industry operate with courage and integrity.
“Most operate from such deep-seated inferiority complexes,” she wrote, likening them to “dementors” that “suck all joy out of life.” While the actor made it clear that she chooses forgiveness, she added pointedly that she does not forget such experiences.

Richa also spoke about her hesitation to share personal moments online, calling out the growing pressure to constantly create content. “Everyone tells you to post more, create more ‘content,’ but I am not employed by social media. I have a life,” she wrote.
She admitted that she now fears even sharing small, heartfelt moments, worried they could turn into public spectacles with cameras focused on every emotion.
