UDAIPUR, India — Billionaire Rama Raju Mantena’s daughter, Netra Mantena, tied the knot with tech entrepreneur Vamsi Gadiraju in a three-day wedding that captured global attention. The celebrations, held from November 21 to 23, 2025, featured extravagant décor, celebrity guests, and lavish details, including a towering Parisian wedding cake and expansive floral installations.
Symbolic Bridal Wardrobe
Fashion designer Rahul Mishra, responsible for one of Netra’s custom bridal looks, revealed that her lehenga included deeply symbolic artwork. Inspired by the groom’s name—“Vamsi,” Sanskrit for Lord Krishna’s flute—the embroidery depicted Krishna’s Raas and the devotion of his gopikas. The design was realized with intricate threadwork, multicolored rhinestones, beads, zardozi, and pearls, under the styling guidance of Anaita Shroff Adajania.
For her wedding day, Netra wore a classic red Sabyasachi lehenga, complemented by glam makeup emphasizing smoky brown eyes, dramatic lashes, and a soft pink lip, crafted by Namrata Soni. The jewellery ensemble included a layered diamond necklace, matching earrings, maang tikka, nose pin, and a subtle chandlo, perfectly tying her traditional and modern bridal look.
Star-Studded Guests and Performances
Netra’s wedding was a magnet for celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Madhuri Dixit, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Janhvi Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan. A highlight of the reception was Jennifer Lopez performing in India for the first time, delivering hits like Waiting for Tonight and Get On the Floor alongside elaborate lighting, dance sequences, and costume changes.
