Actress Ashnoor Kaur’s journey in Bigg Boss 19 ended just a week before the grand finale after a controversial physical altercation with fellow contestant Tanya Mittal. During the Ticket to Finale task, Ashnoor struck Tanya with a wooden plank. In an exclusive interview, she shared her perspective on the incident, her eviction, and the personal challenges she faced during the show.
On the Incident with Tanya Mittal
Ashnoor insisted that the incident was not intentional, explaining, “I didn’t know Tanya was actually hurt. Others kept telling me I hit her, but I hadn’t. If someone had informed me she was injured, I would have immediately apologized. She was laughing two minutes later, and I genuinely thought it was drama.”
She added, “The plank was heavy, and my body was sore. After the task, I threw it down, and unfortunately, she got hurt. I am sorry if she was injured.”
On Her Eviction from Bigg Boss 19
Reflecting on her eviction, Ashnoor said, “I was just one week away from the finale. It felt like my dream was snatched away abruptly. The house is intense, and the last few weeks were challenging emotionally. I felt a huge weight lifted off my chest when I stepped out.”

On Perceived Arrogance
Addressing claims that she became arrogant after her father’s visit, Ashnoor clarified, “I took feedback from Rohit Shetty before my father arrived. He advised me to be more vocal, which I did. My father’s visit helped me emotionally recharge, but it wasn’t arrogance—it was guidance and support.”
On Friendships in the House
Ashnoor highlighted her friendship with Abhishek Bajaj, saying, “We are best friends and respect our bond. It’s 2025, and a guy and a girl can just be friends. People may ship us, but we value our platonic friendship.”
She also addressed her interactions with Gaurav Khanna, explaining, “We often had different points of view, but I respected his opinions. Just because we disagreed doesn’t mean I distanced myself—it’s about maintaining individuality.”
On Body Image Struggles
Ashnoor courageously opened up about her past struggles with body image issues and eating disorders. She shared, “Tanya’s remarks about my body were painful. As a teenager, I forced myself to vomit or starve to lose weight. It was a dark phase, and I hope no one goes through that. Your body is your home, and everyone is beautiful in their own way. You need to love yourself.”
