Mumbai Police has issued a summons to Siddhanth Kapoor, actor and brother of Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor, in connection with the massive ₹252 crore mephedrone drug seizure case. According to updates from news agency PTI, Siddhanth has been asked to appear before investigators on November 25 to record his statement.
This development comes shortly after the Mumbai Police summoned social media personality Orhan Awatramani (Orry), who sought more time and did not appear in person.
Why Siddhanth Kapoor and Orry Were Summoned
Their names reportedly surfaced during the interrogation of Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, the prime accused in the high-profile case. The Ghatkopar unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) found references to both individuals when questioning Shaikh, who is accused of operating a mephedrone manufacturing facility.
Neither Shraddha Kapoor nor Siddhanth Kapoor have released a public statement in response to the summons.

As per reports quoted by Hindustan Times, Shaikh claimed that he organised extravagant parties in Mumbai and Dubai attended by several prominent personalities. Names mentioned during questioning included:
- Nora Fatehi
- Shraddha Kapoor
- Siddhanth Kapoor
- Filmmaker duo Abbas–Mustan
- Rapper Loka
- Orhan Awatramani (Orry)
- NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique
Orry, who failed to appear for his initial summons, has sought time until November 25. Notably, he was spotted attending Travis Scott’s high-energy concert in Mumbai on November 19, the same period he was expected to present himself before investigators.
Details of the ₹252 Crore Drug Seizure
The case dates back to March 2024, when Mumbai Police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone (MD) valued at approximately ₹252 crore. The drugs were found at a clandestine manufacturing facility located on a farm in Sangli district, Maharashtra.
Shaikh, the central figure in the case, was deported from Dubai and taken into police custody last month. During interrogation, he allegedly confessed to organising rave parties across India and abroad, often attended by celebrities and influential individuals.
