Jolly LLB 3 has reached the end of its theatrical journey, and despite entering cinemas with strong buzz, the Akshay Kumar–Arshad Warsi starrer has turned out to be a major box office disappointment. With De De Pyaar De 2 taking over theatres from November 14, the courtroom comedy-drama has nearly exhausted its run with underwhelming domestic and overseas numbers.
The earlier films in the franchise — Jolly LLB (2013) starring Arshad Warsi and Jolly LLB 2 (2017) led by Akshay Kumar — were both critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Their strong legacy created high expectations for the third installment, but the lukewarm promos failed to generate the excitement needed for a big franchise opening.
The film collected approximately Rs 12 crore nett on Day 1, notably lower than the opening of Jolly LLB 2 eight years earlier. While the weekend offered some hope with around Rs 50 crore nett and solid Saturday–Sunday trends, the momentum collapsed sharply on Monday, ending any chance of a sustained theatrical run.
Jolly LLB 3 concludes its India run with Rs 115.20 crore nett, translating to nearly Rs 138.60 crore gross. Its overseas performance was even more disappointing, managing only $3.50 million (around Rs 30.20 crore). The worldwide gross stands at an estimated Rs 168.80 crore, far below expectations for a franchise film of this scale.

Add Hunterfly on GoogleFor comparison, Jolly LLB 2 grossed Rs 183 crore worldwide in 2017, despite a significantly lower average ticket price. The new film’s numbers highlight a clear underperformance and poor audience retention.
With theatrical rights reportedly sold at around Rs 75 crore in India and the distributor share likely to close at just Rs 60 crore, the film is headed toward a loss-making outcome.
Final Verdict: FLOP
Jolly LLB 3 has failed to match the franchise’s past success and ends as a commercial misfire both in India and overseas.
