\u201cFor me, content is important. When it comes to performance, I am absolutely certain that I will only hire an actor who does justice to my character. Raja described the casting as a decision based on the actor’s audition and the requirements of the character rather than commercial considerations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor expressed disappointment about missing the event but indicated that cancelling the trip was unavoidable because of her health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australia Onam Event Postponed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Clyde Malayali Association<\/strong> had earlier announced Mamitha as a celebrity guest for its Onam celebrations in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the actor’s inability to travel, the organisation decided to postpone the programme rather than proceed with the event as originally scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mamitha also apologised to the organisers and people who had been looking forward to meeting her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to come and meet the Clyde family. I apologise to everyone. It is because of this situation that I have had to cancel. I hope this can happen on another occasion,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organisers are expected to announce a new date after coordinating with Mamitha’s team and the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
