The conversation centred on Mahhi Vij’s use of the word “Bhabhi” while joking about an interaction involving Amrapali and Qazi Touqeer.
Rather than allowing the misunderstanding to linger, Amrapali spoke to Mahhi directly and explained why she was concerned about how Bhojpuri viewers might perceive the comment.
What Happened Inside the Bigg Boss House?
The incident began while Amrapali was getting changed. She indirectly indicated to Qazi Touqeer that she wanted some privacy, and Mahhi helped communicate the message to him.
Qazi subsequently left the area.
After he had gone, Mahhi made a light-hearted remark about the situation, referring to the possibility of Qazi wanting to see Amrapali wearing a saree and using the word “Bhabhi” during the joke.

“Yaar Mahhi ji, Bhojpuri culture mein bhabhi ji wala mazaak… woh log offence na lein bas,” Amrapali told her.
Her comments made it clear that she was thinking about the reaction of her audience rather than accusing Mahhi of deliberately making an offensive statement.
Mahhi Vij Says There Was No Negative Intent
Mahhi subsequently clarified what she meant by the remark.
She explained that she understood the cultural meaning of the word and did not use it with any intention of disrespect.
“Mujhe pata hai bhabhi maa samaan hoti hai,” Mahhi said during the conversation.
The clarification helped put the exchange into context, with Mahhi maintaining that the comment had been made purely in a playful spirit.

The two actors later addressed the issue together and made their position clear.
Mahhi explained that her use of “Bhabhi” was not intended as a reference to or criticism of the Bhojpuri industry.
“Guys, maine bhabhi Bhojpuri ke usme nahi bola. Main sirf masti kar rahi thi,” she said.
Amrapali also joined the clarification and expressed affection towards viewers who identify with the culture.
“We love our Bhabhis and Bhaujis. We genuinely love you,” she said.
Amrapali further explained that “Bhabhi” is traditionally used as a respectful form of address in Bhojpuri culture and is also commonly heard in Bhojpuri entertainment and songs.
By addressing the matter directly, the two actors made it clear that the exchange was not intended to insult Bhojpuri culture, its audience or anyone associated with the industry.
